We are One Family

1 Chronicles 1

From 1 Chronicles 1, we are reminded that we are one family. We are the descendants of Adam, the first man who is created by God.

God does not discriminate against us whatever our skin color, whatever our tribe, whatever our background, whatever our nation, whatever our language. We are loved by God no matter what. We are one family. Therefore, we must love one another. The conflict about differences in peoples, nations, religions, colors, tribes, occupations does not appropriate because we come from the same lineage, the descendants of Adam.

Realize again that we are one family. Accept one another. Love one another. Let God be praised and glorified among the peoples and the nations.

"May God, who gives you this endurance and encouragement, allow you to live in harmony with each other by following the example of Christ Jesus. Then, having the same goal, you will praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, accept each other in the same way that Christ accepted you. He did this to bring glory to God. Let me explain. Christ became a servant for the Jewish people to reveal God’s truth. As a result, He fulfilled God’s promise to the ancestors of the Jewish people. People who are not Jewish praise God for His mercy as well. This is what the Scriptures say, “That is why I will give thanks to You among the nations and I will sing praises to Your name.” And Scripture says again,“You nations, be happy together with His people!” And again, “Praise the Lord, all you nations! Praise Him, all you people of the world!”" Romans 15:5-11 (GW)

Best Decision in Life

1 Kings 13-15

The decisions we take will determine our lives and the lives of our descendants. When David took the decision to do what is right before God and dedicated his life to please God, not just David who got the impact which is the strength, comfort, victory, and the blessing that God gave him. God was merciful to David's descendants because He remembered David.

Take the best decision today to devote your life to God. It is useless to do what is evil in the eyes of God because it will end with the destruction of ourselves and our descendants. But, when our hearts adhere completely to the Lord and when we do what is right before God, everything will end with the victory and glory in the Lord for us and our descendants.

Better to suffer for the truth than for sin. Better to obey God rather than following the wrong path because trust other person. Better to serve God than sin that will end in death.

"Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose. They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land." Psalms 25:12-13 (NIV)
