Isaiah 45
"The Lord created the heavens— He is the one who is God! He formed and made the earth— He made it firm and lasting. He did not make it a desolate waste, but a place for people to live. It is He who says, “I am the Lord, and there is no other god." Isaiah 45:18 (GNT)
There is only one God, Creator of heaven and earth. He is Lord Jesus Christ who has become the Savior of all sinful human because His love is so great to us. He is a God who is sovereign over our lives. He is God we should worship and serve. He is the true God and He is worthy to be praised in our life. He is the living God and no one else like Him.
"I am the Lord; there is no other God.I have equipped you for battle, though you don’t even know Me, so all the world from east to west will know there is no other God. I am the Lord, and there is no other. I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the Lord, am the one who does these things." Isaiah 45:5-7 (NLT)

Job 42
God can do all things. No purpose of Him can be thwarted. What God planned is always comes true. No one can defeat God. Nothing can change God's plan. God is consistent. God never changed from yesterday, today, and forever. What the Lord has set will not change. Nothing can thwart God's plan.Omniscient God is already knows everything that has happened, is happening and will happen in this world. There is no hidden thing before God. Our prayer, even with fasting, can not change God's plan, but that draws us closer to God, make us understand the purpose and plan of God, that strengthens our faith in God.

1 Kings 1-2
Adonijah has the desire to be king. He equipped himself and celebrated himself as a king. However, all his efforts is failed because God wanted Solomon became king of Israel. Because God wanted Solomon became king of Israel, then no one can failed it.Nothing can happen outside of God's will. Whatever our efforts, if it's not God's will, then it will be failed. But if it is the will of God, then no one can failed it. God is sovereign over our lives. Everything that happens in our lives is permitted by God.
When we know and do the will of God, then nothing can failed it. When we understand what God wants in our lives, then all our efforts will be successful and meaningful.
"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:2 (NLT)
There are two ways to understand the will of God according to Romans 12:2.
First, the life that reflects God's children. Have a holy life and live based on God's Word.
Second, to control our minds to think God's Word, God's promises, God's pleasure, the holiness of God, the goodness of God, the faithfulness of God, the greatness of God, the power of God, the sovereignty of God, and what the will of God.
