The Source of Wisdom

Jeremiah 4:22

The Lord says, “My people are foolish. They do not know Me. They are stupid children. They don’t understand. They are skillful at doing evil. They don’t know how to do good.” Jeremiah 4:22 (ICB)

We are God's people, but we often do stupid things that are not pleasing to God. Thank God, He still want to reprimand us and accept us as His people. Let's learn together to know God more and more so that our lives can please God more and more. Then, let's become God's people who are wise and understand knows what is good and not have anything to do with evil.

"I am glad that everyone knows how well you obey the Lord. But still, I want you to understand what is good and not have anything to do with evil." Romans 16:19 (CEV)

How to Get The Wisdom?

Job 28

Who wants to be happy? Those who want to be happy need to find and pursue the wisdom. People who have the wisdom are wise. The wise people have a bright future and they will never lose hope.

How can we get the wisdom?
1. Have fear of the Lord and turn away from evil (Job 28:28)
2. Learn the Word of God and just do it. (Psalm 19:7)
3. Live in righteousness and listen to the voice of the Lord (Psalm 51:6)
4. Be humble (Proverbs 11:2)

Finding and getting of wisdom is the most important thing we need to do.

"My child, eat honey because it is good. Honey from the honeycomb tastes sweet. In the same way, wisdom is pleasing to you. If you find it, you have hope for the future. Your wishes will come true." Proverbs 24:13-14 (ICB)

The Wise Decision

2 Chronicles 19

In this life, many decisions we must take. The decisions we make will affect our lives and the lives of others as well . Small or big decision have their own consequences.

Wisest decision is a decision taken with the fear of the Lord. If we fear God, we will make a decision according to the will of God. God will show the way we should choose. What God wants mostly different from what we want. We need sacrifice our pleasure, our time, our lives. Even the consequences are not easy to bear.

But if we obey and make decision according to what God wants, God will give us ability to bear all the consequences and make us succeed in everything we do.

"Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose. They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land." Psalms 25:12-13 (NIV)
