How Could You Live Without God?

Isaiah 31

"Though you are such wicked rebels, My people, come and return to the Lord." Isaiah 31:6 (NLT)

God always wants to be close to us. But, we are often run away from God and leave God. Repent now. Come back to God. Return to the Lord. Seek God while you still having a chance. Where is peace other than in God? Where is safety place other than be with the Lord? How could you face problems without involving God? Where are pleasure and satisfaction of life other than in God? Where is salvation when you are apart from the Lord? Where the eternal joy come other than from God? How can you live without God?

No Satisafaction Apart From God

Ecclesiastes 2

"For apart from Him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?" Ecclesiastes 2:25 (ESV)

When we apart from God, everything is futile and useless. No pleasure and satisfaction outside of God. Man was created with the purpose to glorify God and enjoy God forever (Katekismus Westminster). When people do not do God's purpose for them, everything that they do in this world is meaningless.

"I ask only one thing from the Lord. This is what I want most: Let me live in the Lord's house all my life, enjoying the Lord's beauty and spending time in His palace." Psalm 27:4 (ERV)

Longing to God

Ezra 3

After the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid back, all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord. Many shouted aloud for joy, so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shout from the sound of the people's weeping, for the people shouted with a great shout, and the sound was heard far away. God brought His people back to Jerusalem. God turned the hearts of His people to rebuild the house of the Lord and praise the Lord.

The desire for God has placed in the heart of every person. Often we do not realize it because of our busy lives. But, when we are alone in our quiet time, there is nothing more beautiful than being with God. How happy when we can praise the Lord and pleasing to God. The void in our hearts can only be filled by God. Only God can satisfy the longings of our souls. The greatest joy is when we glorify God as long as we live.

"I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God." Psalms 84:2 (NLT)

Without God, Life is Nothing

1 Kings 8-9

Solomon, a wise man, understand that without God's presence and work in the house of the Lord which he had built, the building has no meaning. That's why he prayed that the power of God manifest in the house of the Lord. God listened the prayers of Solomon and promised to grant his prayers if there is obedience and faith to God.

Built a luxury living with all the best in the world would be meaningless without God. The greatest satisfaction in life is not obtained from the money, material things, and the achievement of position. The greatest satisfaction in life comes from obedience and faith to God. The greatest satisfaction in life is obtained when seeing the power of God manifest in our life. The greatest satisfaction in life is obtained when we can finish our mission from God in this world with a good faith.

Be like Solomon, pray to God and ask Him to live in your life and you live in God. Ask God to manifest His power through your life so that all the peoples of the earth know the name of the Lord, so that they have fear of God, just like you.

"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5 (NLT)
