Ezekiel 44

“They must teach my people the difference between what is holy and what is unholy. They must show the people how to tell the difference between what is clean and what is unclean." Ezekiel 44:23 (GW)

"So put everything evil out of your life: sexual sin, doing anything immoral, letting sinful thoughts control you, and wanting things that are wrong. And don’t keep wanting more and more for yourself, which is the same as worshiping a false god. God will show His anger against those who don’t obey Him, because they do these evil things. You also did these things in the past, when you lived like them. But now put these things out of your life: anger, losing your temper, doing or saying things to hurt others, and saying shameful things. Don’t lie to each other. You have taken off those old clothes—the person you once were and the bad things you did then. Now you are wearing a new life, a life that is new every day. Sanctified by The Blood of Jesus Christ

Ezekiel 42

“So he measured all four sides. There was a wall all around it. The wall was 875 feet long and 875 feet wide. It separated what was holy from what was unholy." Ezekiel 42:20 (GW)

What is holy can not be in one place with what is unholy. There is a separation between the holy and the unholy. Because of sin, all people become unholy before God and can not have relationship with God. But, by the blood of Jesus, we are sanctified and justified. Sin that separates us from God has been redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Therefore, every people who believes in Jesus Christ will be given the grace to have relationship again with God. Even more, we will be borned again in Jesus Christ and will become God's children.

"And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting Him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:19-22 (NLT)

Restored by God

Ezekiel 37

“The Lord also said to me, “Son of man, all the people of Israel are like these bones. The people say, ‘Our bones are dry, and our hope has vanished. We are completely destroyed.’ So prophesy. Tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: My people, I will open your graves and take you out of them. I will bring you to Israel." Ezekiel 37:11-12 (GW)

When we live by faith to Jesus Christ, whatever our condition, there is still hope for us to be restored. Although we feel there is no way out and it is impossible for us to get out of our problems, God can change our circumstances, the dead one though. Never give up. Keep hope in Christ alone. God is able to do anything to restore our lives.

"After Jesus had said this, he shouted as loudly as he could, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out. Strips of cloth were wound around his feet and hands, and his face was wrapped with a handkerchief. Jesus told them, “Free Lazarus, and let him go.” John 11:43-44 (GW)

Life Led by Holy Spirit

Ezekiel 36

“You will remember your evil conduct and the wrongs that you committed, and you will be disgusted with yourselves because of your sins and your iniquities. Israel, I want you to know that I am not doing all this for your sake. I want you to feel the shame and disgrace of what you are doing. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken.” Ezekiel 36:31-32 (GNT)

If we are the true children of God who have been born again in Jesus Christ, then we will love God and would not want to hurt God. What God likes we like. What God hates we hate. God hates sin, then we are also hate sin. God likes to forgive, then we are also like to forgive. Our lives are no longer led by our own desires, but led by the Holy Spirit.

"If you live under the power of sin, you will die. But by the Spirit’s power you can put to death the sins you commit. Then you will live." Romans 8:13 (NIRV)

Restored, Not Destroyed

Ezekiel 33

“You must say to them, ‘The Lord God says: By my life, I swear that I don’t enjoy seeing people die—not even evil people! I don’t want them to die. I want them to come back to me. I want them to change their lives so that they can really live. So come back to me! Stop doing bad things! Why must you die, family of Israel?’ Ezekiel 33:11 (ERV)

God still give us opportunity to repent from our evil life. God ia longing to see us back closer to Him. God is still patient to us. He does not want us to perish. God still never tired to rebuke and remind us because of His love to us. He is waiting for us to have intimacy with Him. God especially longs to restore our lives rather than destroy us.

"by saying, “What’s happened to his promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died, everything continues as it did from the beginning of the world.” Dear friends, don’t ignore this fact: One day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. The Lord isn’t slow to do what he promised, as some people think. Rather, he is patient for your sake. Blessed to Bless

Ezekiel 31

"So this is what the Lord God says: “That tree grew tall. Its top reached up to the clouds. It grew so big that it became proud! So I let a powerful king have that tree. That ruler punished the tree for the bad things it did. I took that tree out of my garden." Ezekiel 31:10-11 (ERV)

When we got the success and great achievements, what we are proud of? Is it our ability or the goodness of God that makes us successful?

"Everything good comes from God. Every perfect gift is from him. These good gifts come down from the Father who made all the lights in the sky. But God never changes like the shadows from those lights. He is always the same." James 1:17 (ERV)

Only by the grace of God alone we are as we are today. Only because the favor of God alone we obtain every success and all the best things in our lives. What things  can made us boast? All that we have comes from God. All of our achiements solely because of the ability given by God. When we are at the pinnacle of success, we must glorify the name of God and proclaim the goodness of God in our lives. We are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others.

"The eyes of arrogant people will be humbled. High and mighty people will be brought down. On that day the Lord alone will be honored." Isaiah 2:11 (GW)
