II Kings 7
The officer who was close to the king did not believe that price of food will be cheaper in the middle of the famine in Israel although God has told that. Therefore, that officer did not get anything when God fulfilled His promise.
God has given His promises in the Bible. But, would you believe and look forward to the promises of God fulfilled in your lives? We often like that officer. We believe God has unlimited power, but sometimes we still doubt God's ability.
If you want to receive salvation and help from God, you must have faith in God who can save you. Without faith, there is no salvation. Without faith, there is no help. Do not hesitate. Do not waver. Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope. Hope in the Lord will never fail and will not embarrass us.
"But when you ask God, you must believe. Do not doubt God. Anyone who doubts is like a wave in the sea. The wind blows the wave up and down. He who doubts is thinking two different things at the same time. He cannot decide about anything he does. A person like that should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord." James 1:6-8 (ICB)
