God's Law is God's Protection to us

Nehemiah 13

Laws are made to limit us so that we do not behave recklessly, but behave according to the rules of God. This restriction actually protect us. Without rules, we would do things that can harm ourselves and others.

The Word of God is a law of our lives , rules of our lives, and the guidance of God's will in our lives. Be faithful to God's law in the Word of God. Meditate on it day and night. Do it and your life will be more lively.

"Obey my commands so that you may live. Follow my teachings just as you protect the pupil of your eye." Proverbs 7:2 (GW)
