Salvation is Available For You

2 Chronicles 30

Hezekiah celebrate Passover to remind the Israelites about salvation from God in Egypt. Hezekiah invites all Israel and Judah to return to God, the true God who freed them from slavery in Egypt.

All humans have fallen into the slavery of sin. Fall means moving from a position close to God became distant from God. The consequence is all man would perish. Sin makes the relationship of God and man become disconnected.

But God, the true God, take the initiative to make reconciliation because He loves us. God, the true God, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to bear our sins. The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose at the third day. He has defeated the death and Jesus Christ is living God. Whoever believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior, they will be saved and reconciled with God.

Let us live in truth to remember and give thanks for the reconciliation and salvation God has done for us. We live right not to be saved. Human effort can not save themselves. We are saved because we believe and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. We live right because that is the fruit in keeping with repentance, because we have been saved, because we have become children of God.

"Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (ESV)
