Psalm 27
"The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident." Psalm 27:1,3 (NIV)
In any trouble, David strengthen his heart to keep believing in God. His faith was not shaken by any problem. He was not afraid and worried because he knew his Lord, the God who never abandon him. He always directs his heart and mind to God, not to the problems. And God always saved him from his enemies and gave him many victories.
"For the Lord grants wisdom! From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to Him. Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go." Proverbs 2:6-9 (NLT)
