Proverbs 6
"The Lord hates these seven things: eyes that show pride, tongues that tell lies, hands that kill innocent people, hearts that plan evil things to do, feet that run to do evil, witnesses in court who tell lies, and anyone who causes family members to fight." Proverbs 6:16-19 (ERV)
Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the futility and misery of sin. We are justified and sanctified. Pursue Christlikeness. Do good as Christ did. Avoid evil and hate sin as Christ did. Glorify God and worship God with your life. Do what you can do for God. Guard your heart and your life so you are blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes.
"Children, come and listen to me; I will teach you to respect the Lord. Do you want to enjoy life? Do you want to have many happy days? Then avoid saying anything hurtful, and never let a lie come out of your mouth. Stop doing anything evil, and do good. Look for peace, and do all you can to help people live peacefully." Psalm 34:11-14 (ERV)
