The Strong Foundation

Psalm 53

"God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if amyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God." Psalm 53:2 (NLT)

God looks to see each of our lives. Whoever is truly wise, he seeks God. Whoever is truly wise, he pursue intimacy and knowledge of God. We, human, do not know what is right if we do not know God and do not study the Word of God. God and His Word is the truth that saves us. The more we seek God and the more we know God, the more we are strong and can not be shaken by any situation.

Fear = Doubt to God

Psalm 46

"God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude" Psalm 46:1-3 (NLT)

When we know our God and believe in our God, we will not fear and trembling to face anything. In difficult times, we will not worry because the Lord is our God, our refuge, our strength and our helper. God is good and His eternal love endures forever. God's help is real and never too late. Why are you afraid? Why are you discouraged? Why do you doubt Almighty God?

Come To God With Faith

Psalm 42

"My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration! Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember you— even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan, from the land of Mount Mizar." Psalm 42:4-5 (NLT)


Do not let the storm of problems that come to us drag us into hopelessness and make us depressed. Do not rely on your own strength. Do not think about things that weaken your faith. Have a courage and come to God. Come to the God with faith that God is our helper and our mighty God. Come to the Lord in faith that God is reliable and trustworthy. Come with faith that God can bring us to surf in the storm or fly higher than the storm. Put your hope in God. By faith, give thanks in advance to God and shout to God joyfully. God will surely save us and give us relief, peace, and joy. Rest in God's presence and get new strength to face anything.

In all circumstances, we can choose to rejoice. In all circumstances, we can choose to keep praising God. In all circumstances, we can choose to be grateful to God. Praise God in all circumstances, not just because of the help of God is real in our lives, but because God is worthy to be praised and worshiped. The greatness of God, the glory of God, the power of God, the wonder of God, the goodness of God, the faithful God, the miracle of God, the magnificent of God is worthy to be praised.

Hope that Never Fails

Psalm 27

In any trouble, David strengthen his heart to keep believing in God. His faith was not shaken by any problem. He was not afraid and worried because he knew his Lord, the God who never abandon him. He always directs his heart and mind to God, not to the problems. And God always saved him from his enemies and gave him many victories.

"For the Lord grants wisdom! From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. God teaches us through His Word to know Him and His will. Knowledge of God makes us able to face anything in our lives. Knowledge of God makes us not be deceived by the lies of the devil and the world.

God gives wisdom to us and lead us on the right path through His Word. God deliver us from all wrong path and give us peace and joy through His Word. Learn the word of God and do the Word of God as David did.

Psalm 18

What are you grateful for today?
In Psalm 18, David sang to the Lord when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. 


David glorified God and praised for the power of God. David believes those who blameless before God and keep themself from sins will be saved by God. God trains David to win against his enemies and those who hate him. Many things that God has done for us. We should give thanks to God for His wonderful works in our lives.

The Precious Treasure

There was someone who was given a check for $ 1 billion rupiah but he never used it although he needed it for his son's healing because he could not read. Such a pity he did not find out and understand that he has much money.

God has given us His Word. However, we often do not want to learn and do not want to find out about God's Word. Do you realize that the Word of God is the precious treasure that God has given to us? The Word of God is the answer, encouragement, and guidance of God for us. Great blessings belong to those who love the Word of God.

Plan of God always Works

Job 42

God can do all things. No purpose of Him can be thwarted. What God planned is always comes true. No one can defeat God. Nothing can change God's plan. God is consistent. God never changed from yesterday, today, and forever. What the Lord has set will not change. Nothing can thwart God's plan.

Omniscient God is already knows everything that has happened, is happening and will happen in this world. There is no hidden thing before God. Our prayer, even with fasting, can not change God's plan, but that draws us closer to God, make us understand the purpose and plan of God, that strengthens our faith in God.

Live for God

Job 38

We are servants of God. We are redeemed from the sin and belong to God completely. How lucky we are! We have redeemed by Jesus Christ. We can serve God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the Lord of all, Almighty God.

If we dedicate our lives to God, we will not doubt God. We fully believe in the sovereignty of God and follow what God wants. We keep our heart, thoughts, words, and actions to glorify the name of God. We obey and submit to God's command. Everything we do, we do for God. When we can please God, that's the key of true happiness.

"For we do not live or die for ourselves. If we live, we are living for the Lord. And if we die, we are dying for the Lord. So living or dying, we belong to the Lord. I sinned. I changed good into bad, but God didn’t give me the punishment I deserved! God saved me from going down to the place of death. Now I can enjoy life again. God does all these things for people again and again. He wants them to be saved from death so that they can enjoy life.

Rejoice and give thanks to God who has saved us from death. Enjoy life God has given to you. With Jesus, we can enjoy the beauty of heaven on earth.

How to Get The Wisdom?

Job 28

Who wants to be happy? Those who want to be happy need to find and pursue the wisdom. People who have the wisdom are wise. The wise people have a bright future and they will never lose hope.

How can we get the wisdom?
1. Have fear of the Lord and turn away from evil (Job 28:28)
2. Learn the Word of God and just do it. (Psalm 19:7)
3. Live in righteousness and listen to the voice of the Lord (Psalm 51:6)
4. Be humble (Proverbs 11:2)

Finding and getting of wisdom is the most important thing we need to do.

"My child, eat honey because it is good. Honey from the honeycomb tastes sweet. In the same way, wisdom is pleasing to you. If you find it, you have hope for the future. Your wishes will come true." Proverbs 24:13-14 (ICB)
